These positions are on-call, as needed, to fill in for employee day-to-day absences, and to cover vacancies or limited-term assignments. Assignment schedules and sites may differ.
Substitute/Temporary Paraeducator General Education - $19.56/hour
Typical shifts are 2-5.75 hours a day between the hours of 7:30am-3:00pm
Substitute/Temporary Paraeducator Special Education - $23.76/hour
Typical shifts are 2-5.75 hours a day between the hours of 7:30am-3:00pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm
Paraeducators work under the direction of a teacher or other certificated employee and assist in providing instructional reinforcement, preparing instructional materials, and maintaining a safe and clean learning environment.
