We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Land Specialist within our Land group based in Houston, TX.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

* Assist with preparation of documents, agreements, permits and correspondence

* Monitor and track external and internal documents for timely execution and proper recording

* Code incoming invoices with appropriate account codes and forward to Landman for approval

* Track contractual obligations

* Assist Landman with ordering title and clearing to drill

* Run reports, create exhibits, and provide lease and well information from the Oxy systems

* Requesting/Processing checks for lease bonus requests, recording fees, application fees, assignment fees and broker invoices and updating budget spreadsheets

* Assist Joint Interest Billing (JIB) with questions from partners

* Creating contracts and title opinion records in QLS

* Maintaining and updating Working Interest (WI) Ownership in Oxy systems, including initiating joint venture and land final of wells

* Update/Create Business Partners in SAP

* Route incoming OBO documents to appropriate team for review and handling

* Approve and track SAP projects

* Assist Finance with well setup tasks

* Other various administrative duties required to support the company and contract land staff

Qualifications -

* High school diploma/equivalent

* Minimum of 3 years relevant experience required

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal

* Self-starter and motivated learner that can work both independently with minimum supervision and within a collective group to support project requirements

* Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

* Ability to work in a team environment, support and meet project milestones, and work on multiple projects in conjunction with other requirements

* Handle confidential and proprietary company data and information

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications
