Part-time Waitress Japanese restaurant weekend

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and attentive Server to join our restaurant team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety and handling, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, a strong understanding of fine dining, and the ability to upsell and provide helpful guidance to customers. Duties:
- Greet customers promptly and ensure that they have everything they need to enjoy their meal.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle food and beverages in a way that ensures cleanliness, safety, and quality.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and attentive manner, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled to the customer's satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the tables, chairs, and floors.
- Restock supplies and ensure that the restaurant is fully equipped to meet customer demands.
- Upsell menu items and recommend wine and other beverages.
- Provide helpful and knowledgeable guidance to customers, answering any questions they may have.
- Manage time effectively to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and that customers are served promptly.
- Work as part of a team to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and the ability to work well in a team environment.
