We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service and Production Planning Coordinator to manage customer communications and execute production planning activities. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and timely deliveries, working closely with our sales and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s strategic growth initiatives by prioritizing customer satisfaction and on-time deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with P&A’s customers through various channels, addressing product and service inquiries, and providing information about additional products.
  • Follow up with customers throughout the pre- and post-sales process to cultivate strong relationships.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to enhance products and services.
  • Understand and address customer objections, solving problems professionally and promptly in a complex environment.
  • Gain insight into the market segments in which P&A Industrial Fabrications operates, understanding how our products and services are utilized.
  • Maintain and expand knowledge of current products and new developments to meet customer needs.
  • Learn and utilize the company’s software systems to manage incoming inquiries efficiently.
  • Identify business opportunities to enhance the company’s brand image and increase revenue growth.
  • Assist in sales and planning activities, including sales forecasting and budgeting.
  • Conduct research, analyze sales trends, compile data on sales performance, and prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Liaise daily with the Plant Production Coordinator and Plant Leadership Team to ensure customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of manufacturing departments and production processes.
  • Monitor quality requirements for each production line and perform regular quality audits.
  • Align sales and inventory through effective communication and leadership as a liaison between Sales, Customers, the Plant Production Coordinator, and the Plant Manufacturing/Operations Team.
  • Prioritize production lines in the Finishing department.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with daily loom planning.
  • Create finishing tickets for fabric produced at Kenyon.
  • Manage order scanning in the warehouse.
  • Conduct material audits in the Finishing Department.
  • Order entry
  • Coordination of inbound/outbound shipping
  • Invoicing
  • Production performance reporting
  • Office inventory purchasing
  • Production scheduling
  • Printing and distributing manufacturing instructions and shop orders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Ability to design and implement short-term and long-term business strategies effectively

Travel
