Duties
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs to facilitate community involvement.
- Observe and document client behavior, progress, and any significant changes in health status.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to provide comprehensive support.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to hospice care and working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
