Division Information
Kenworth Truck Company is the manufacturer of The World's Best heavy and medium duty trucks. Kenworth is an industry leader in providing fuel-saving technology solutions that help increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Job Functions / Responsibilities
Make customer calls with dealer personnel and provide required assistance in closing sales, financing, and leasing.
Develop annual sales plans and develop new customer relationships.
Identify product requirements within the Southeast Region market area; TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, FL
Responsible for coordinating truck sales programs and implementing policies with dealer organization.
Establish an effective counseling and advisory role with dealer management regarding performance objectives, financing, marketing development, sales programs and leasing matters.
Communicate with dealers regarding truck sales activities, inventory practices (planning), wholesale trucks to dealers, financing and leasing programs.
Assist in training and developing dealer personnel.
Approximately 60% travel required.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Engineering or Business Administration.
5 years wholesale/retail Class 7 and 8 heavy duty truck or parts sales experience, truck technology experience, and/or relevant experience in related heavy equipment industries.
Experience in Truck sales process, financing and Truck Leasing practices is preferred.
Strong PC skills.

The salary range for the Medium Duty Sales Manager - Southeast Region is $114,500 - $179,100 annually. This position is also eligible for annual incentive bonus compensation with a target of 15% of base pay. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
