Dental Assistant - Registered Dental Assistant

Our growing private dental practice in Pacific Beach, CA is seeking a skilled and friendly DA/RDA to join our patient-centered team. This is a full-time opportunity in a modern, well-established practice that values teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate is confident in chairside assisting, enjoys working with patients, and is open to helping with light front office duties when needed.

• Provide high-quality chairside assistance during general, restorative, cosmetic, and Invisalign procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile treatment rooms in accordance with OSHA and infection control standards
• Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and digital impressions/scans
• Assist with Invisalign treatments and patient education
• Maintain accurate electronic dental records using Dentrix
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
• Manage dental instruments, equipment maintenance, and inventory
• Deliver excellent patient care and communication
• Assist with light administrative/front office duties as needed
  

• Current Dental Assistant / RDA license
• Current X-ray Certification
• Coronal Polish Certification
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols
• Experience assisting with a variety of dental procedures
• Familiarity with Dentrix, iTero, and Invisalign (preferred)
• Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills

• Dental Assistant (DA): $25–$27/hour (based on experience)
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA): $27–$30/hour (based on experience)
