Senior Financial Analyst II

Job Description:

We're actively seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst II to join our Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis team in our Newport Beach, CA office (hybrid work schedule).

How you will make an impact:

Corporate Division

• Assist in preparing the annual plan for the Corporate division, including coordination with Pacific Life Investments, Treasury, Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Accounting Operations in key inputs and assumptions

• Develop the plan model under various economic scenarios and sensitivity analysis based on shocks for various inputs

• Prepare the quarterly forecast for Corporate division and sensitivity analysis for investment results

• Quarterly reporting of actual to plan variance analysis including development of presentation materials for senior management on the portfolio performance and allocation of the performance based on key capital markets drivers

Other

The experience you will bring:

• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience

• 3 years of public accounting experience required

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field

• CPA preferred

• Strong technical, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to meet and manage responsibilities under tight time frames

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written

• Works independently, receives minimal guidance

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
