This rolewill be hybrid out of our corporate office in Newport Beach, CA.AsaSenior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by recruiting for our Actuary function, along with other functional positions across the enterprise. A successful candidate will have a strong sense of curiosity, think strategically, have a passion for learning and a focus on process improvement. You will also have a strong knowledge and interest in supporting Pacific Life's DEI initiatives and experience working with data to help drive business decisions. How you will make an impact:- Leverage appropriate resources to develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify internal and external candidates.
- Leverage your strong consultative approach to support our hiring managers throughout the course of a search on strategic sourcing, candidate assessment, offer negotiation and talent market trends.
- Lead and participate in the interviewing and selection process, ensuring a fair and inclusive approach.
- Communicate closely with candidates throughout the recruiting process to ensure an optimal candidate experience.
- Successfully build relationships with our TA Team, University Relations, and key Human Resources partners to optimize our recruitment function.
- Collaborate with other TA members on challenging projects - i.e. strategic workforce planning, process improvement, DEI, social media.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience performing full cycle recruiting for complex functions.
- Proven experience with a competency based interview approach.
- Proven experience presenting talent to hiring managers in a corporate environment.
- The ability to communicate and influence to drive for best in class hiring results.
- Strong learning agility and sense of curiosity.
- Proven experience leveraging data to drive sourcing strategies and engaging candidates through various channels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Full cycle Actuary recruiting.
- Financial Services experience.
- Proven passive sourcing techniques to engage talent.
- Experience with Workday and MS Office.
- Experience working in an Agile methodology within an HR Function.
Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
