Pacific Metallurgical is the Northwest leader in heat treating services, Nadcap approved, and conveniently located in Kent Washington. Catering to local machine shops and the aerospace industry in the United States and around the globe since 1967, our processes include normalizing, austenitizing, gas and oil quenching, annealing, tempering, aging, stress relieving, gas carburizing, gas nitriding, precision straightening, and more.
We don't just do aerospace work. We also specialize in heat treating tooling, tools and dies and high performance metal parts for hydroplanes, dragsters, Formula One, and more.
Drivers are the main point of contact for customers and PacMet depends on them to make sure items get to their destination quickly, safely, and efficiently. They are responsible for transporting various parts and materials on a flatbed truck from one location to another. No commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, but a clean driving record is a must. In addition, while in-house, the driver will assist shop staff with shipping/receiving activities including operating forklifts or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products. By understanding and following Safety, Transportation and Shop Floor processes and procedures, they’ll make sure that customers get what they need safely and on time.
