Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with campers, provide guidance and support, and create a fun and memorable camp experience. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Assist in organizing and implementing camp programs and events
- Provide positive behavior management and conflict resolution
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for campers
- Collaborate with other counselors and staff to create a cohesive team
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or students in a camp, babysitting, or childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- First aid certification is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with campers, parents, and staff
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior in a positive manner
