CNC Operator/Machinist

Pacific Sky Supply, Inc. is an aerospace manufacturer located in the Sun Valley, CA area seeking a Machine Operators for first and second shift, that meets the following criteria described below;

This person must be able to run multiple machines, and have the ability to make offset changes as needed.

• Operate and setup 3, 4 & 5 Axis Haas mills using Mastercam
• Operate and setup Lathe Machines using Mastercam.
• Interpret drawings and operation process sheets to determine machining requirements.
• Perform dimensional and document first article inspections.
• Make size adjustments to the machining program.
• Experience in grinding turbine blades and/or vanes.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Assist in the general maintenance of all machining equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required by the manager.

• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, willing to learn and be responsible for the quality of your work
• Experience reading operation sheets, as well as using various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, comparators, height gage)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Minimum 1-year prior job experience is a plus, but would train the right people with sufficient machining knowledge.
• Occasional reaching, lifting and bending.
• Able to stand for up to ten (10) hours.
• Able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds

First Shift: alternative schedule hours: 5:30am - 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays.

Second Shift: 3:00pm - 1:30 am, Monday thru Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays. The successful candidates will be trained on the 1st shift during normal working hours of 5:30am – 4:00pm M-Th. After the proper job training has been performed, only then will the candidate be moved to the 2nd shift. Second shift differential available.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
