The EHS Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager at the facility and be responsible for providing focus,
definition, and technical expertise for the development of a proactive Environmental, Health, and Safety plan
that is consistent with Pactiv Evergreen’s (PTVE) corporate policies, vision, and values; and is in compliance

The EHS Manager reports directly to the Plant Manager at the facility and be responsible for providing focus,
definition, and technical expertise for the development of a proactive Environmental, Health, and Safety plan
that is consistent with Pactiv Evergreen’s (PTVE) corporate policies, vision, and values; and is in compliance
with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Lead the implementation and execution of the EHS Pillar for the Pactiv Evergreen Production System
- Oversees plant safety portion of all regulatory audits both internal and 3rd party.
- Implement the PTVE Environmental, Health and Safety Management Technical Standards.
- Maintain updated OSHA and EPA required written programs and develop/conduct training as
- Oversee the reporting and investigations of any potential injury, accident, and/or health and safety
- Conduct water sampling and outfall inspections to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Provide tactical leadership through proactively identifying areas of improvement, development of

Education
Education and/or Experience Requirements (Qualifications)
- BA/BS degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering or technical discipline or
- Must have certification as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) or have the ability to certify within six

- 3 years of progressive and related professional health and safety experience in a manufacturing or
- Environmental experience is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to

- Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills.
