Responsibilities
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our national multidisciplinary architectural and engineering firm. This individual will provide project support in our Houston office. This position is fast-paced and deadline-driven. The ideal individual should be a highly organized, self-directed, problem-solver with the ability to multitask, work well under pressure while maintaining strong attention to detail. The individual will also support the Project Management Team directly and maintain office wide initiatives in support of Project Management continuity.
- Assist Project Managers and design team with organizing submittals, specifications, packages, and document control;
- Set up Project information and project work plans
- Support Project Accountants on project information
- Draft project and consultant contracts;
- Send drawings or other correspondence to clients, consultants, reprographics; through Bluebeam and/or Newforma;
- Verify proper document delivery;
- Organize and track tasks between disciplines;
- Produce Project Reports;
- Download incoming information for Project Managers as requested;
- Maintain studio calendars set-up project tools and structures;
- Coordinate project registrations and permitting
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Architectural / Engineering office experience is a plus
- Organized, responsible, and results oriented with initiative.
- Must be able to meet badging requirements for client sites, including passing a background check.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office - including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
- Intermediate to advanced Knowledge of Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint project use or similar ERP software.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of InDesign, Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat, and Newforma
