Cardiologist

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Cardiologist to the group at NYC Health Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The hospital maintains accreditation by New York State Cardiac Diagnostic Center with a diagnostic catheterization and a cardiac non-invasive lab. The Critical Care Unit and Coronary Recovery Unit is staffed with full-time cardiologists and cardiology fellows. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College Of Osteopathic Medicine.

100% outpatient Cardiology with Cardiology fellow, medical residents and Physician Assistant's for support
• Opportunity to build a cardiology practice with a diverse patient population in a large, busy community-based setting
• Opportunity to be involved in PI and QA initiatives
• on-site lab and imaging services provided
• Excellent primary care referral base with an established patient panel on day one
• Support staff: Medical assistants and techs (nuclear, lab, echo, radiology)
• Teaching and administrative responsibilities relevant to the role
• On-call/additional sessional responsibilities for in-patient consults and reading EKG/ECHO are optional and considered Per-Diem and not a primary part of this ambulatory cardiologist role
• Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-4 PM - no weekend calls

• Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
