Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health Hospitals/Metropolitan, located on First Avenue & 97th Street in Manhattan, accommodate over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.
We are currently recruiting for an Attending Neurologist to join our team.
Involves in-patient consultation service and out-patient clinic work as well as teaching for medical residents and medical students.
- We have won the AHA/ASA GWTG (Get With The Guidelines) gold plus award in stroke for 6 years in a row!
- We have routine EEG capabilities during working hours. EEG interpretations are not required as they are read by an outside provider. EMG interpretations are not required as well as this is done by the Rehab department.
Qualifications include:
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology
- Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
- Ability to speak Spanish highly desired
