What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transcriptionist position at Pain Management Centers of America?
MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONIST on location only. Not REMOTE. ONSITE ONLY In Paducah, KY
· Review, edit, and enter medical documents into electronic health records (EHR) systems
· Transcribe and interpret the dictation into various medical documents
· Identify inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within a report
· Follow up with the healthcare provider to ensure that reports are accurate
· Must be proficient with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments
· Must be able to interpret medical abbreviations
· Proficient in Microsoft Word 2016
· Work quickly and accurately with keen attention to detail
· Follow patient confidentiality guidelines
