About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursey for a Surgery Center located in Las Vegas, NV. Join our team and be part of a leading healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and innovative treatment options.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the surgery center
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
Prepare for and manage accreditation processes (joint commission)
Handle employee relations including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
Create and manage staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient outcomes
Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections
Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement programs
Address patient concerns. Investigate and resolve complaints or incidents involving patient care, adverse events,
implement corrective actions
Maintain physical environment including cleanliness, safety, equipment maintenance
Oversee infection control policies and compliance
Ensure all clinical staff maintain licenses and certifications (ACLS, etc)
Manage inventory of supplies / meds / equipment
Collaborate with other department heads to streamline processes and enhance overall patient experience
Work closely with Administrator to optimize workflow, reduce inefficiencies, and budget
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
Valid RN license in the state of Nevada
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of healthcare regulations specific to ASC and best practices
