Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Paint Prepper and Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing walls, trim, windows and doors for painting, applying high-quality paint finishes, and ensuring all work meets industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience and knowledge, as well inexperienced and limited knowledge, are highly valued. The successful candidate will contribute to preparing houses and buildings to optimal condition, while maintaining professional conduct and excellent customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, windows and doors with company supplies.
- Roll and cut walls and ceilings.
- Apply paint, coats, and detailing to interior and exterior structures of houses and buildings, and using attention to detail
- Conduct inspections post-painting to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with maintenance tasks such as repair work and making runs for supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Use estimating skills to assess needs and communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies such as ladders and paint safely during various stages of the process
Skills
- Experienced painters preferred, as well as inexperienced painters willing to learn.
