Job Description
Aerospace manufacturer (200 employees) is seeking a C# (WPF) developer capable of the design and expansion of front-end services and data interchange between the server and the users in a manufacturing environment.
You will be part of a team tasked with the migration of an enterprise information system, the development of business logic and code, the definition and maintenance of a central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end users. The team works together to integrate the front-end and back-end elements written by other members of the team.
Responsibilities
- Writing clean, fast C# (WPF) code to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way
- Ability to communicate with end users and understand their business needs
- Ability to work with code written by others and integrate it into your routines
- Development of classes and functions to manage data
- Solve complex logic problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of new code with existing code
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Support existing applications
Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on knowledge of C# (WPF) programming
- Experience with object-oriented programming
- Familiarity with ODBC / OLE connections to non-SQL type data (.dbf data preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with SQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding of JSON, JQuery preferred
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Exposure to Visual FoxPro a plus
- Able to handle multiples projects simultaneously
- Experience with developing reports.
- Experience with PHP is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.22 - $77.77 per hour
