Position Summary
Palatine Park District is hiring for Fitness Center Attendants. If you enjoy fitness and working with the public and helping others, this job is for you! This position is responsible for maintaining the Fitness Center and assisting our members by completing the following tasks:
- Check-in fitness members and guests
- Maintain and promote excellent member relations and open communication with all current and potential new fitness members, guests and visitors
- Greet and direct members in person and on the phone while answering fitness area questions and providing pertinent information specific to the fitness area
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness center facility/equipment
- Process POS items, memberships, and personal training registrations
- Assist in administrative internal support tasks as assigned including but not limited to general reporting, cleanliness of fitness floor, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age
- Requires strong people and customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public
- Enthusiastic attitude and great work ethic

This position works up to 10-15 hours/week. The starting pay rate for this position is $14/hour.
