Qualifications
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
x Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Newgraduates must be registered with ARDMS within two years of graduation; all other personnel must beregistered with ARDMS within one year of hire… or, Registration by the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT) in Sonography (S)
Completion of one of the following: • Registered as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the ARDMS within three years of hire. • Registered in Vascular Sonography (VS) by the ARRT within three years of hire
