Overview
We are seeking a FULL-TIME Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician (RADT) to join our 6-bed residential detox facility.
This role is ideal for a compassionate, reliable professional who is comfortable working in a small, structured environment and supporting clients during early recovery.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor clients throughout the detox process and ensure safety at all times.
* Observe and document client behavior, withdrawal symptoms, and daily activities.
* Assist with intakes, discharges, and routine documentation.
* Provide emotional support, redirection, and crisis intervention as needed.
* Enforce house rules and maintain a calm, respectful environment.
* Communicate effectively with clinical staff and management.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas.
Requirements:
* Active RADT certification (California)
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience in detox or residential treatment preferred
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Ability to work full-time schedule (including weekends or Holidays if required)
* Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with substance use disorder clients
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
* CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
