What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician/Nurse position at Palmetto Animal Clinic?
We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our team. Palmetto Animal Clinic is a growing 4 doctor small animal practice open through the week 8a-5:30p and Saturday 8a- 12p. We offer a flexible work schedule to accommodate full and part time applicants. We have competitive salary rates based on education and experience and offer a wide range of additional benefits described below. Applicants should be open to working Saturdays. Typical full-time schedule includes a 4-day work week with alternating weekend shifts.
We have been offering veterinary services for over 30 years and have a beautiful new facility that was completed only a few years ago. We are equipped with digital and dental x-rays, ultrasound, on-site surgery suite with laser and cautery options, and two wet tables for dental prophylaxis. We are dedicated to the health of our patients and promoting a positive client experience.

Desired skills: Teamwork, blood collection from canine and feline patients, I.V. catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiograph acquisition, and experience performing dental cleaning. People skills and good communication are a must.
