JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with appliances, including refrigerators, microwaves, and televisions.
- Maintain and repair indoor and outdoor pools, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment maintenance.
- Inspect and maintain elevators to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Monitor and maintain the facilities' ventilation systems to promote proper air quality and circulation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on building structures, such as roofs, walls, and floors, to prevent deterioration and ensure structural integrity.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff requests for maintenance assistance and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Front Desk, to coordinate maintenance efforts and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks to prevent accidents and injuries.
