The General Manager – Market Leader serves as the senior on-site operator for the Casper, Wyoming market. This role goes beyond traditional General Manager responsibilities and functions as a GM / Director hybrid, requiring a self-sufficient leader capable of owning results, developing leaders, and operating with minimal oversight.
This position is responsible for full operational accountability, people development, financial performance, and community presence. The ideal candidate brings prior General Manager and/or multi-unit leadership experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead with autonomy, pride, and accountability.

Job Summary
Manages and assumes responsibility for all functions of the restaurant to ensure high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and sustained profitability. Ensures execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

People Leadership & Development
- Actively recruit, hire, and retain customer-focused team members
- Maintain proper staffing levels aligned with sales projections
- Ensure effective onboarding, training, and development at all levels
- Establish clear performance expectations and conduct timely performance reviews
- Document performance issues and administer corrective action, up to and including termination
- Coach and develop leaders to build bench strength and long-term stability
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, energy, and pride
Operations & Customer Experience
- Build and sustain systems that ensure every product meets Papa Johns quality standards
- Ensure accuracy of orders and consistency of execution
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns
- Actively solicit and use customer feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty
- Communicate and reinforce quality standards using all available tools and resources
Sales & Community Leadership
- Manage sales performance against budget and prior year
- Drive guest satisfaction through speed, accuracy, and service
- Increase check averages through product knowledge and sales execution training
- Execute creative local restaurant marketing (LSM) initiatives
- Serve as a positive, visible leader within the Casper community
Financial & Asset Management
- Manage profit performance against budget and prior year
- Control food, labor, and other controllable costs
- Identify unfavorable trends and implement corrective action plans
- Execute administrative and cash management responsibilities
- Plan and manage inventory using computerized inventory systems
- Protect company assets by ensuring cleanliness, equipment functionality, safety, and security
- Oversee preventative maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs

Skills & Experience
- Strong cash management and financial acumen

- Previous General Manager experience required
- Multi-unit or senior GM experience strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Occasional lifting over 51 lbs

Work Environment
