About The Position
We are seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate to work closely with our project management and operations staff and provide supportive oversight at our office warehouse location. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating the delivery and pickup of construction materials at active job sites with the use of a company issued vehicle. This position also involves assistance with the intake and outflow of materials at our office location and ensuring that our warehouse environment is organized appropriately for proper use and safety. Frequent operation of a forklift to move materials within, to, and from our warehouse is expected.
Requirements:
- A valid Class C Texas drivers license and a clean driving record for the span of at least the past 3 years.
- Forklift certification or a willingness to become certified within 2 weeks of employment.
- The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for short periods of time as required to retrieve and shift material.
- Prior warehouse experience preferred as well as an understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- A collaborative mindset. You must be willing to work as a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly, approachable personality, with a positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A detail-oriented outlook with an aptitude for organization and time management.
- Familiarity with common computer skills involving email communication, spreadsheets, and a willingness to learn new software skills.
