**Responsibilities**
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, particularly OSHA standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain quality of work.
- Collaborate with project managers on construction estimating and scheduling.
- Train and mentor crew members in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and timelines.
- Independently handle assigned tasks while overseeing crews to ensure all jobs are completed correctly.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience as a General Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to confidently take on leadership responsibilities with minimal oversight.
