THE ROLE: We are currently seeking a motivated Shop Storeroom Coordinator. This role will be key to tracking, storing, and monitoring equipment from our fleet. This role is designed for those looking into starting a career in the transportation maintenance industry with goals of upward opportunities. Lists QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to provide great customer service for our drivers Ability to track and coordinate movement of inventory through multiple Microsoft Applications Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, lift, push, and pull with a full range of body movements Ability to use hands to handle, control or feel ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receiving inventory and pulling items off trucks Packing items in boxes Dating and clearly labeling stock Maintaining adequate records and logs documenting location of itemized storage materials Securing designated areas from potential theft Ensuring that storeroom is maintained in a safe, orderly, and clean condition Issuing belongings when requested by owner Calling drivers to update information about possessions Other duties as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Valid driver's license Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Basic knowledge of email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Word HIGHLY BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Transportation/Logistics experience Customer Service experience Closing If you are a driven individual who thrives in an environment poised for growth to already long-standing industry leading organization, then come make Stevens Transport's Paragon Leasing your new home.
