Shipping and Receiving forklift driver

Parallel Employment Group is looking for a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Forklift Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement of goods within our shipping and receiving department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transfer materials safely
• Accurately receive shipments and verify the quantity and quality of items against shipping documents
• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities
• Perform regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency
• Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations
  
  
  

Requirements


Requirements:

• Previous experience as a forklift driver in a shipping and receiving environment
• Valid forklift certification
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling paperwork
• Ability to lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
