What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Engineer I-II position at Parametrix, Inc.?

Parametrix, is a 100% employee-owned consulting company focused on civil engineering, planning, environmental sciences, and construction management. We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Oregon team.  This position will be based out of our Bend office. We are proud of our strong work ethic, great reputation with clients, and a collaborative style. This position will work a hybrid schedule, retaining flexibility to work remotely and coming into the office for mentorship, project, and team collaboration. 

 

 

WHO YOU ARE: 

 

Experienced: You have your BSCE, EIT and interest or experience in civil engineering design with the ability and interest in working on a variety of project types but with a focus on transportation design. We work for a range of clients including local municipalities, state agencies and private clients. Consulting experience preferred. 

 

Technically Focused: Can prepare and deliver civil engineering design for a variety of site civil and transportation projects. You are proficient or have the aptitude to learn MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D. 

 

Relationship & Communication Focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, team player and you thrive on developing rapport with internal and external clients to maintain quality delivery. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written leadership and communication skills.

  • Base salary for this position is in the range of $65,000 - 75,000 . Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are happy to be transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
