What You’ll Do
As a Pet Sitter & Dog Walker, you will:
- Care for dogs, cats, and small animals in their own homes
- Walk dogs based on each client’s needs and preferences
- Provide food, fresh water, medication (if needed), and enrichment activities
- Handle cleaning tasks, such as waste pick-up and litter box cleaning
- Monitor pets’ health and behavior, reporting any concerns right away
- Communicate with clients through our pet sitting app, sharing updates and adorable photos after every visit
- Always put the safety, well-being, and happiness of every pet first
Key Responsibilities
- Walk dogs individually or in small groups, always prioritizing safety
- Follow detailed care instructions provided by pet owners
- Administer medications and manage special diets as needed
- Offer companionship, playtime, and lots of affection to all pets
- Perform light household tasks (such as collecting mail and watering plants) as requested
- Use our Time To Pet app to track visits, check in/out, and keep clients updated
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with animals (personal or professional)
- Genuine passion for pets of all kinds
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Dependable, trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation and a smartphone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to complete a background check
