Job Summary: The Concession Stand Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of concession stands during events. The supervisor will also play a key role in mentoring and leading non-profit volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and rewarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in food service, concessions, or
a similar hospitality role.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, including volunteers.
Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate financial records.
Certifications: Must possess or be able to obtain a food handler’s card and Title 4 alcohol certification.
Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with non-profit organizations and volunteer coordination. Prior work at large venues or stadiums is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Lead, train, and supervise a team of volunteers and concession workers. Provide guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and high- quality customer service.
- Volunteer Coordination: Ensure non-profit volunteers understand their roles, maintain enthusiasm, and work eiciently during shifts.
- Operations Management: Oversee all concession stand activities, including food preparation, beverage service, and cleanliness, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory & Cash Handling: Manage inventory levels, ensuring products are fully stocked and waste is minimized. Oversee cash handling procedures and reconcile sales at the end of shifts.
- Customer Service: Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring all team members are attentive, courteous, and responsive to guest needs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all team members adhere to food handling, sanitation, and safety standards, including Title 4 alcohol laws and food handler certifications.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the event, including customer complaints, equipment malfunctions, and staing concerns.
- Reporting: Provide regular feedback to the Event Operations Manager, including performance reviews of volunteers, financial reports, and inventory updates.
