We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facilities and industrial maintenance operations. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies aligned with production goals and safety standards.
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams, fostering a high-performance environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee the management of Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset histories, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering and production departments to plan and execute complex projects involving machinery upgrades, installations, or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards, including high voltage and low voltage systems, while maintaining detailed schematics and technical documentation.
- Manage facilities management tasks such as HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operation.
- Utilize technical skills in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, ohmmeters, and industrial maintenance techniques to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics to identify areas for improvement; implement corrective actions proactively.
- Maintain safety protocols related to electrical work (including high voltage) and mechanical systems to uphold a safe working environment for all staff.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing maintenance data, optimizing workflows, and implementing innovative solutions.
Skills
- Proven management experience leading maintenance teams in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking work orders, and asset management.
- Expertise in facilities management including HVAC systems, mechanical equipment, low voltage systems, and infrastructure upkeep.
- Deep understanding of industrial maintenance practices combined with mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
- Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on leadership development and team motivation.
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills for clear documentation and team collaboration.
