SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Data Analyst and Report Developer. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights through high-quality analysis and well-structured reporting solutions. You'll collaborate closely with the IT Director, the Database Administrator, and other departments to understand business goals and deliver reports and dashboards that drive smart decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Design and develop requested and needed database reports as prioritized by the IT Director, utilizing approved report development tools, such as SQL Reporting and Microsoft Access.
- Support the IT Director, the Database Administrator, and the EHR team with data collection requests and changes to existing reports and dashboards.
- Work with the IT Director and the Database Administrator to gain a working knowledge of the SQL database, particularly the organization of the data, and how to write and execute SQL queries.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the data components of the agency’s Electronic Health Records, Qualifact’s InSync, and how these data components are structured and accessed.
- Utilize data visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI, to improve the analysis process and usability of reports by PPBH management and stakeholders.
- Assist the IT and EHR teams in data validation of the reports and queries generated.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that support business objectives.
- Write queries and scripts using SQL (or other relevant languages or tools) to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Automate recurring reporting tasks and streamline data workflows for efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and perform QA testing of reports and dashboards.
- Maintain and update documentation for data sources, metrics, and reporting standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and present findings in a clear and compelling way.

- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, related, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Data analysis and/or report development.
- Experience working with Microsoft Access, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or other relational databases
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, with ability to import data and work with Power Query.
