We are currently seeking a qualified facility Medical Records Coordinator to join our team. Full-time position benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, Paid time off (PTO), and participation in the company 401(k) retirement plan.
Role Responsibilities
Accountable for the electronic health record keeping procedures and storage of all resident medical records in a manner consistent with facility policies and procedures, professional standards, and State and Federal laws and regulations for long-term care facilities.
Full time (Monday - Friday)
Requirements
Required Skills, Education, Licensure, and/or Certifications
- Associate Degree
- One year of experience in the last three years in a comparable job classification
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
Preferred Experience and Skills
- RHIT or RHIA
- Thorough understanding of electronic health records and healthcare computer applications
