Position Overview: Ensures that an appropriate number of cars are kept on location throughout the shift and are being parked correctly and the lot is kept clean and presentable.

Essential Job Functions:

• Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the supervisor or site manager.
• Communicate any safety issues regarding debris, water, oil spills etc. directly to the site manager or supervisor.
• Have a good knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the lot.
• Assist Supervisor or Site Manager with other duties as required.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.

• Surface Care:

  • Wipe down surfaces, windows, and fixtures to maintain a spotless appearance.
  • Polish and maintain floors, including stripping, waxing, and buffing when necessary.

• Supplies Management:

  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and paper products.
  • Inform the supervisor when inventory needs replenishment.

• Equipment Handling:

  • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
  • Perform basic maintenance on cleaning equipment to ensure functionality.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.

• Specialized Cleaning:

  • Assist with deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested.
  • Respond promptly to spills or accidents to ensure safety and cleanliness.

• Event and Seasonal Support:

  • Assist in preparing facilities for events by setting up or cleaning afterward.
  • Perform additional seasonal cleaning tasks, such as window washing.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Superb customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass a background check.
• Ability to sit and/or stand at a designated station for extended periods of time, ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, kneel, crouch, twist, push/pull items, devices, etc., during the course of scheduled working hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to position or remove barricades to close or open parking areas.
