Our team is actively looking to hire a motivated, creative and experienced Director of Nursing Services (DON/DNS) for our Long Term Care Facility in West Roxbury, MA close to Boston MA.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the Clinical Oversight, Planning, Quality, and Supporting of the Nursing Services within the organization. The Director of Nursing ensures all Department of Health Regulations are adhered to. Compliance with All State and Federal Guidelines required. The position reports to the Facility Administrator.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- RN License in the state required. – BSN preferred
- At least five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility, including geriatric and/or psychiatric nursing. Must have demonstrated a mastery of good clinical nursing skills.
- Training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing care.
- Ability to incorporate all aspects of nursing in total resident care plan.
- Ability to organize, plan and supervise the nursing service departments.
- Must have a capacity to grasp new theories and principles and implement them.
