- Duties
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures,
- Complete dental prophys for children
- Prepare treatment rooms and set up instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- X-ray certification
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure efficient and effective treatment procedures.
