What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Technician position at Parowan Valley Veterinary Clinic?
We are looking for someone to join our growing practice. We work hard to provide compassionate, quality care and would love to add a team member who is looking to work and grow in an environment focused on patient and client care. Our experienced technicians prepare animals for surgeries, place iv catheters, draw and process blood and urine samples, intubate and monitor anesthesia, administer medications, and start appointments. A less experienced applicant needs skill in restraining and handling animals in a fear free manner and will be taught the additional skills. Preference will be given to experienced applicants, but we do love to train and have a great technician who is willing to work with a good applicant who might have less experience. Any special interests for example in physical rehabilitation, neonatal care, or client education is a plus.
