Parrish Healthcare Integration Developer
Department: Nursing Administration
Schedule/Status: 8am-4:30pm; Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy interfaces to connect healthcare systems using integration engines and middleware solutions.
- Implement and troubleshoot HL7 messages, including ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer), ORM (Order Message), and ORU (Observation Result).
- Leverage interoperability frameworks like FHIR and IHE profiles to ensure seamless data exchange between systems, including EHRs, laboratory systems, and imaging systems.
- Monitor integration environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and reliability across all connected systems.
- Customize and enhance integration solutions to meet the specific needs of healthcare providers and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work closely with clinical and technical teams, including IT staff, clinicians, and external vendors, to gather requirements, implement solutions, and address technical challenges.
- Maintain the security and integrity of data exchanged between systems in compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including interface specifications, system workflows, and user manuals.
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff to ensure efficient use of integrated systems.
- Participate in or lead projects related to healthcare system integration and data exchange initiatives.
- Monitor project progress and report any deviations from the plan to the IT Director.
Requirements:
- Formal Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, healthcare analytics, or related field is required.
- Work Experience: 3 years minimum.
- A minimum of one is required within the first year: Health Level Seven International (HL7) [Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) or Clinical Document Architecture (CDA)].

Salary : $90,000 - $126,000
