Overview:
Partners Dental Studio, a leading orthodontic lab, is seeking a Shipping Specialist to support the efficient and timely shipment of our dental products. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in a fast-paced shipping environment. The Shipping Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring packages are prepared, documented, and delivered accurately and on time. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the needs of the department and the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping Preparation: Package and label outgoing shipments according to company standards and shipping guidelines.
- Receiving: Unpack and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and condition; report any discrepancies to the appropriate team.
- Inventory Support: Maintain knowledge of warehouse layout and assist with organizing, storing, and tracking inventory items.
- Documentation: Ensure shipping records, packing slips, and labels are accurate and completed for all outgoing and incoming items.
- Shipping Coordination: Work with carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx) to schedule pickups and resolve any issues with delayed or lost shipments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of shipping experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred
- Familiarity with shipping software and common carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
