We are looking for a professional to grow our Business Implementation team in Denver. Business Implementation develops and implements solution with front functions and operational teams for Partners Group clients and investments. You will represent the team on the ground and work closely with various operational and commercial teams locally and internationally within Partners Group. This role is part of a dynamic team that will interface with all sides of the business: investments, clients, and operations. This is an ideal role for an experienced professional in accountancy or investments looking to broaden your expertise, gain exposure to investments and fund structuring, and see the operational side.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the on/off-boarding, transfer and restructuring of investments.
- Develop and implement solutions for a broad range of operational challenges, such as legacy portfolio transfers and the restructuring of investment funds and single-client mandates
- Co-ordinate and liaise with our investment, legal, tax and operational teams to assess operational feasibility of proposed investment structures
- Design operational solutions for our clients together with our structuring team.
- Liaise with external auditors on an ongoing basis to discuss the impact operational solutions for clients and investments have in the respective financial statements
- Lead and manage small projects within the department and direct stakeholders
- Liaise with the internal audit to clear audit queries and design and implement process improvements
- Closely collaborate with team members in Luxembourg, Singapore and Switzerland
- Ensure information is updated on a timely basis in our various systems
- 5 years of Accounting/Finance/Legal experience or equivalent degree
- Previous experience within the financial/private markets industry, with exposure to complex operational matters and project management
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Practical experience in audit, investment administration and/or fund and investment structuring related areas
- You are determined to make a long-term contribution in a leading private markets investment management firm and embrace change
- Passion for numbers, data and quantitative analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Experience with accounting software is considered an advantage
- Capability of working accurately, efficiently and independently even under pressure
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to assess a situation and find a pragmatic, operationally feasible and efficient solution
- Ability to work with different teams across various jurisdictions/time zones, and to negotiate in a convincing manner
- You are well organized, eager to learn and a good team player

- Partners Group compensation has a long-term outlook and philosophy, and our total compensation emphasizes performance based long term incentives. Base pay range for this role is $75k – $97k and typically a significant performance-based bonus.
