Responsibilities

Patient Care Technician II works alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician II plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting through improving patient satisfaction by influencing patient throughput.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months in an acute care hospital setting
• Prior experience in performing EKG and phlebotomy procedures
• Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification
  
  

Preferred Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Patient care or EKG and phlebotomy certificate
• Cardiac Credentialing International Certification
