JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing advanced, specialized, complex duties related to risk management and claims administration. This includes analyzing work processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness, particularly relating to the administration of workers’ compensation, student accident insurance and liability claims. Responsible for coordinating trainings and resources across schools and departments.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree from an accredited institution in the field of Risk Management, or related field
- OR
- 60 semester hours of college/university level coursework from an accredited institution
- Three years’ experience in Risk Management
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
- Valid and current Florida Driver’s License
- Satisfactory completion of American Red Cross First Aid and CPR instructor course within 3 months of employment
