What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at Pascua Yaqui Tribe?
The Dishwasher for the Liogue Senior Center washes dishes, utensils, pots, and other kitchen equipment; maintains a clean and sanitized kitchen facility.
- Wash and clean utensils, dishes, pots, containers, and all other kitchen equipment requiring sanitation.
- Return all items to the place of order within the facility.
- Maintain a clean kitchen facility.
- Maintain an inventory of utensils, scrubbers, hazards material, etc.
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level as requested by supervisor or director.
- Work practices, cleanliness, neatness and sanitation;
- Sanitation practices and safety guidelines;
- Dietary standards;
- Occupational hazards of cleaning chemicals and required preventatives measures;
- Yaqui culture, customs, resources and traditions and/or a willingness to learn.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with elder, employee, other agencies and the public;
- Follow verbal and written instruction;
- Operate a dish washing machine;
- Operate a variety of office equipment, including a computer and related software applications;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with co-workers, supervisor, management, Council members, and the public. Have ability to sufficiently exchange or convey information and receive verbal and written work instructions.
AND
- Age 55 and over preferred;
- High School or equivalence preferred;
- Tri-lingual in English/Spanish/Yaqui preferred.
- TB Screening;
- First Aid Certification within 6 months of hire;
- CPR with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification with within 6 months of hire;
- Must have a Food Handlers Card or obtain on within six (6) months of hire.
- TB screening or within the first three (3) months of hire;
- Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License;
- This position will require the incumbent to work non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends;
- Must have a current Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card or be able to obtain the Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card within ninety (90) days of hire. Failure to maintain a current Level 1 Clearance Card will result in termination.
