Position Overview:
Patco Brands seeks a National Account Manager responsible for driving strategy, programming, and KPI growth within the assigned territory. This role will work directly for the Vice President of National Accounts to develop and grow new and existing business in national chain accounts, with primary responsibility for H-E-B, Military, Target, and Spec’s. Location: Texas (preferred); regular regional travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate, lead, and implement JBP’s across the assigned account base.
- Partner with retail accounts at the national level to obtain authorizations and programming to drive growth to meet the annual volume plan.
- Interface with distributor leadership and key account teams to create synergies and expand overall chain coverage.
- Engage internal frontline Division Vice Presidents and Regional Managers to support in-store execution and selling initiatives.
- Utilize insights from syndicated data, internal reporting, and distributor data to identify opportunities that support company strategic objectives by using fact-based selling techniques.
- Regularly update the leadership team on progress and account performance.
- Identify and communicate promotional & point of sale needs internally and with distributors across the assigned territory.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Job responsibilities may vary by region, depending on the state's regulatory and compliance standards.
- 5 years of National Account sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills
- Sales experience in the Alcohol Beverage or CPG industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven track record of successful territory management
- People management experience
- Experience with reporting systems: iDig, Nielsen’s, IRI, Numerator, Mintel, etc.
- Proficient in Excel and PPT
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
