What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Attendant position at Path Resorts?
Description
A pool attendant will monitor the pool area for any concerns pertaining to guest safety. Their main function is to watch the slide area and also monitor the roman spa making sure that only age appropriate guests have access to that amenity. Handles all reminders to guests about rules appropriately and politely at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor slide usage
- Maintains constant surveillance of pool and the pool areas
- Must politely be able to remind guests of pool rules
- Keeps all areas of the pool age appropriate, no children in hot tubs, roman spa, etc
- Helps shut down the pool at closing time
- Perform chemical testing as prescribed; take immediate corrective action as needed
- Maintains accurate records required by SHR and state agencies
- Reprimands people for misusing pool area in a considerate manner
- Keeps all children under the age of 16 from being in the roman spa
- Makes sure all guests have on the appropriate attire for pool usage
- Works with west desk attendant to keep order of the amenities building
- Shuts down pool at the end of night and performs all closing duties such as skimming, check all filters, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge about pool rules and safety
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Has a clean and appropriate appearance
- Certified CPR
