Position Overview:
The Sales Manager at Steele Hill Resorts plays a critical role in driving the success of
our vacation ownership offerings. The Sales Manager will be responsible for optimizing sales
strategies, leading a dynamic team, and ensuring guests receive an unparalleled experience.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, with experience in
the vacation ownership industry being a plus, and a passion for achieving excellence. This
position requires a commitment to a full time schedule, allowing for comprehensive oversight
and involvement in all sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ongoing Recruiting & Hiring: Continually recruit, hire, and onboard sales and admin staff to maintain a high-performing team.
- Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Ensure ongoing development and upskilling of both new and existing team members.
- Discipline & Performance Management: Address performance issues, implement disciplinary actions as needed, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Optimizing Performance: Efficiently manage the line schedule to maximize team performance and meet sales targets within a standard work week.
- Sales Tools Development: Innovate and develop new sales tools for the team, including staging, scripts, and incentives.
- Production Oversight: Ensure the production and delivery of results from the sales team meet the highest standards.
- Goal Achievement: Drive the team to meet or exceed sales goals and targets set by management.
- Team Support and Monitoring: Provide ongoing monitoring and support to staff, fostering an environment of excellence and growth.
- Process Management: Oversee the T.O and VLO processes, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Guest and Owner Communication: Engage with guests and future members to enhance their experience and resolve any issues.
- Guest Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with operations management to continually improve the guest experience.
- Facility Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all sales areas.
- Communication: Keep open lines of communication with all relevant departments, ensuring a unified approach to guest satisfaction.
- Inhouse Guest Experience: Take charge of the in-house guest experience, addressing any concerns and ensuring a memorable stay.
- System Familiarity: Become familiar with all of the tools and systems used within the Sales department.
- Active Participation: Occasionally step in to take presentations, maintaining a close connection with the guest experience and sales process.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager
- Sales experience in the vacation ownership or timeshare industry is a plus
- Strong understanding of sales management, marketing principles, and customer service practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Commitment to a full-time 40-hour work week, with flexibility as needed to meet business demands
