Position : Family Support Worker

Location : Grand Island

Pay : $18-$23

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help parents create a healthy and safe home environment
  • Teach positive parenting strategies
  • Help families improve communication skills
  • Teach skills to manage aggression and anger appropriately
  • Provide supervised visitation services
  • Assist families in accessing community resources
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation
  • Collect specimens for drug testing

    • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in social work / related field or at least 2 years of experience in working with children
  • Strong communication and conflict management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with children and families
  • Proficient writing and word-processing skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and conflict management skills
  • Previous experience is a plus, but we provide paid training
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
